DA-FormMaker 4.19.0 has been released. The update introduces several improvements for creating and designing forms.
This release mainly focuses on multi-column forms, the layout of submitted form data in emails, and more flexible date input.
Improved design of form fields
The management and design of form fields have been revised in version 4.19.0.
The settings for individual fields are now arranged more clearly, making it easier to edit larger and more complex forms. Existing functions remain available, but they are now easier to access and manage.
Individual column widths for multi-column forms
Multi-column forms can now be designed more flexibly. Previously, the available space was distributed evenly between the columns.
With DA-FormMaker 4.19.0, the width of individual columns can now be adjusted.
This makes it possible, for example, to combine a wide input field with a smaller field next to it. Especially in forms with different field types, the available space can now be used more efficiently.
Keep columns in emails
Another new feature affects the emails generated from submitted forms.
Multi-column forms could already be displayed accordingly on the website. In the generated email, however, the fields were previously displayed one below another.
With version 4.19.0, the column layout of the form can now also be preserved in the email.
This option can be enabled in the advanced settings. It provides a more compact and structured presentation of submitted data, especially for larger forms.
Calendar field for date ranges
The calendar field has also been extended.
In addition to selecting a single date, DA-FormMaker 4.19.0 now allows users to select a date range with a start and end date.
This makes the calendar field more useful for reservations, travel periods, absences, rental periods, or any other form where users need to specify a date range.
